Ronde Barber

Ronde Barber a great NFL DB retires on his own terms. The 38-year-old cornerback is retiring after 16 seasons. Considering that every one of those seasons was spent with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, it’s hugely important that it was Barber who made the call. The Bucs haven’t always been graceful about parting ways with their icons. Treat this guy right, because he always treated the franchise and the fans right. Barber is a fixture in the Tampa Bay area and it goes beyond just what he did on the field, and the Bucs, who haven’t been packing Raymond James Stadium in recent years, don’t need to endure another ice age with another star from their glory years. 

Honey Badger No More

tyrann mathieu wants to retire the name honey badger because he says people called him that in such a dark part of his life that he does not want to go back to that name. He wants to move forward in to life and better himself as a football player and as a man someone kids look up to when they play football. i think that is a great decision on his part because that was a very dark time in his life where alot of people lost respect for him and he just wants that respect back.

2013

Well the off- season is here and we are all very excited to see what happens in it. what teams will be ranked the highest what players will be in the running for the heisman how the back to back national championship contenders will play this season and how Johnny Manziel will lead his team. many things to look forward to in the 2013 football season. We will see how all the rookies in the NFL plan out there pre-season how they will come out and compete for the top spot and how there teams will play to get into the play offs. Very exciting to think about but have a great off season.

Kendal Thompson

 Kendal Thompson , who is vying to win Oklahoma's three-way quarterback competition, was arrested Friday morning on misdemeanor complaints of public intoxication and interference with official process. What are all of theses players thinking? Getting in trouble arrested when they have great opportunities in their hands. I mean really there are so many kids that wish they had the talent these athletes have and they are waisting it by getting in trouble and not focusing on the more important things. Their future! Thompson, the son of former Oklahoma quarterback Charles Thompson, is battling Blake Bell and Trevor knight for the Sooners' starting quarterback job. Thompson completed 8 of 15 passes for 86 yards and a touchdown in OU's spring game last month. 

An OU spokesman said the school was aware of the matter and is handling it internally.

Titus Young

Well another NFL superstar going down the drain Titus Young a former NFL wide receiver for the Detroit Lions goes to jail once again. Young fought with deputies after a foot chase friday in San Clemente. He has been charged with attempted burglary, assaulting a police officer and resisting arrest. He is in custody Sunday on $75,000 bail. Young also was arrested last Sunday in Riverside County on suspicion of driving under the influence, then was arrested again the same day for trying to take his car from a tow yard. The Lions waived the troubled Young on Feb. 4. A second-round draft pick in 2011, Young was disciplined multiple times last season and was told to stay away from the Lions' facility because he intentionally lined up wrong in a Week 14 loss to the Green Bay Packers. What we are wondering is can he turn his life around or will we be hearing alot more top headlines about him.

Johnny Manziel

Well spring is over and we are going into the offseason for football everything went good with spring games alot of teams look impressive. Including Johnny Manziel and the Texas A&M. Johnny I'm sure is looking forward to next season so he can lead his team to a winning season. But, the question is can he. Can he beat the crimson tide once again and get closer to a BCS championship and can he beat the teams that he fell to last season. We will see in the up coming season. Very excited to see what happens

Summer

Summer is near for the football season which means camps, workouts, and off time for players. We will see how the summer workouts will do for each player. We will see who gets stronger, faster and a better player I'm excited to see who will shine next season. We will see how the honey badger and many more rookies fight for a starting position for the pre-season and regular season. Even though there is no football played during the summer always keep in mind its near and football never has an off season.
